I was finishing up with some yard work when I heard a buzzing noise near me. I looked around and this is what I saw. At first I thought is was a hummingbird but I also thought it was a little odd to see a hummingbird this late in the day.
As I went to grab my camera and started taking a few shots, it became apparent that this wasn’t a hummingbird. A little research online helped me identify it as a hummingbird moth. This is the first time I have seen one and it was interesting to see it move like a hummingbird. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos.
